Just move on

I was given a new placement last Thursday; right smack in the middle of the day. New placement, new school, new grade, new kids. I cried like a baby. It was so upseting because it was so sudden. My supervisor came to the school at 11:00 Thursday to let me know, and by 1:30 I was walking into a new classroom. I am now in a first grade classroom about thirty minutes away. I can't say why they moved me, but it was definitely not my fault.

So I'm just learning my new kids names. I think they're beginning to warm up to me, but I find myself comparing them to my sweet precious Kindergarteners. On top of having only four and a half weeks to get to know my students, learn their names and routine, and begin to teach, my supervising teacher is absolutely crazy. I think she's on speed or something. She never stops, and she expects me to do the same. I had to stay an hour later at the school today to get everything that she had assigned me finished. Oh boy...this is gonna be an insane month. I just know it.
